Micheal Pollan Talks@Google

Michael Pollan author of In Defense Of Food, speaks at Google's Mountain View campus. I am a fan of his. I enjoyed his talk, but at an hour, I do not expect everyone to watch. Here are couple of high lites.

Ortharexia: unhealthy obsession with healthy eating.

Low Fat does not work. This is something I have always thought was a stupid marketing trick. Look at a Coke or Mountain Dew label. No sugar No Fat. No nutrition. Is it healthy? I think not.

Eat food.
Not too much.
Mostly plants.

Don't eat anything that wont rot.

Cooking and gardening have become subversive.
